Third Party Reimbursement Initiative (TPRI-CT)
Through the CT COPA committee, a task force was created to focus efforts on education, advocacy and recognition of professional billing for medically necessary services rendered by athletic trainers in Connecticut. The Task Force was created and regularly meets to discuss plans to move CT forward towards this goal. The TPRI Task Force wants to involve the membership of CATA in this initiative, through education, outreach and advocacy. Resources will be available here.
Membership survey and business analysis about current state of Third-Party Reimbursement in Connecticut was completed by The Clark Group Associates Inc. in June 2019. Findings from the report are being used to move the TPRI forward.
