Connecticut Athletic Trainers' Association

The Connecticut Athletic Trainers' Association (CATA) strives to improve the quality of health care for athletes, patients and clients and enhance the profession of Athletic Training, through leadership, education, and cooperative efforts with other organizations and allied health professions.

Licensure

Athletic Trainers are licensed in Connecticut under the Connecticut General Statutes, Chapter 375a, Sec. 20-65 f through Sec. 20-65 m. Please review the state statute pertaining to Athletic Training in order to insure that you are practicing within the statute and your scope of practice.
