AED & Epi-pen/Asthma Inhaler Statutes Take Effect
August 15, 2009

The CATA partnered with the American Heart Association to advocate for legislation related to automated external defibrillators (AEDs) during the 2009 state legislative session, and also supported legislation allowing students to carry emergency epi-pens and asthma inhalers with them at school. Two AED-related bills and the epi-pen/asthma inhaler bill were signed by Governor Rell. Read details here.
