CATA Hall of Famer Carl Krein Honored at Rock Cats Game
June 9, 2010

Carl Krein, ATC/Ret., PT was honored as the inaugural inductee into the CATA Hall of Fame at the recent CATA Symposium. The CATA also honored him on the field prior to the game as part of CATA Day at the Rock Cats. Krein, the former longtime Head Athletic Trainer at Central Connecticut State University, is also a member of the NATA and CCSU Halls of Fame. Krein is pictured below with his grandsons Mike & Patrick, just prior to throwing out the first pitch at the Rock Cats game. Despite gloomy skies that kept many fans away from the game, as well as a brief rain delay, the CATA raised over $2000 for the CATA Penny F. Dunker-Polek Scholarship.
