In Penny's Memory: Penny Dunker-Polek Scholarship Fund
October 30, 2009


Penny Dunker-Polek, a CATA member who touched the lives of many student-athletes, parents, patients, and other Athletic Trainers, lost a courageous battle with cancer on October 30, 2009. Penny worked in various practice settings, and covered sports at Bolton H.S., Coginchaug H.S., and Manchester H.S., as well as assisting at Wesleyan University and St. Joseph’s College. Penny’s complete obituary is below.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Penny Dunker-Polek Scholarship Fund, c/o CATA, P.O. Box 155, Durham, CT 06422-0155.
