The Connecticut Athletic Trainers' Association (CATA) strives to improve the quality of health care for athletes, patients and clients and enhance the profession of Athletic Training, through leadership, education, and cooperative efforts with other organizations and allied health professions. The CATA is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization.

CATA Strategic Vision Statement

The CATA will establish public awareness regarding the role of the athletic trainer in caring for patients and clients and serve as a resource for CATA members and the Connecticut community.

 

CATA Strategic Initiatives

The CATA will restructure its organizational policies and procedures, committee structure, and methods of communication.

The CATA will work to promote and secure employment within the traditional (e.g., high school, collegiate, professional) and non-traditional settings and gain third-party reimbursement.

The CATA will work to increase and improve membership involvement.
