Licensure
After a
ten year battle, Athletic Trainers in Connecticut
are eligible to become licensed. This is a
milestone event that affects all certified Athletic
Trainers working in CT. Please visit the
Connecticut Licensing Info Center to download your
application for a license:
Connecticut Licensing Center.
The grace period deadline
ended November 1, 2006. In
order to practice as an Athletic Trainer in any
setting in the state of Connecticut, you must be
licensed. Should you choose to not become licensed,
you will forfeit your right to practice as an
Athletic Trainer in the state of Connecticut.
Please
remember that with licensure comes more
responsibility. Please review the state statute

to assure that you are practicing within the
